There were only a few homes in Barcelona last year. I had 2 groups come to the door, but I usually do the early ones, around dusk and just after, then turn off the lights at the first break. There are a lot of folks here who turn in early.

It would be nice if the school had a festival...do they do that?

Hendersona you're welcome to come by our place in Barcelona. My husband and I are going to be passing out candy, week day or not. This is going to be our 1st Halloween and we've already begun to decorate. I love Halloween!!!!

It seems like a lot of new people have moved here within the last year, hopefully we have good spirited people who enjoy the holidays... I love seeing the kids all dressed up, they are so cute.

Darin and I will be offering candies as well. We are right next to Val, who has an awesome selection of candies (thanks Val for the apple/caramel one). We just don't know how many kids to expect, no idea how much to buy.

We don't know anyone out here, so we're heading to my parents place in Ahwatukee. Not that it really matters, our daughter will be 3 months old at Halloween.

HOpe it's a big turn out here, though. I look forward to next year when she can dress up and people can enjoy her.

We bought our candy last night...as long as we don't get tempted to eat anything, we got 3 bags. Should that be enough? i know that Barcelona really doesn't have a lot of kids, but i know that other subdivisions do.

But, Im wondering if the turn out will be huge...Frys is also doing a trick or treat thing....so im wondering if maybe families will go there instead? Maybe we'll get a 4th bag...if we dont' use it, i can always take it into work.

Can't wait to meet our neighbors!

We were wondering the same thing, if it will be a nice turn out for trick-or-treaters. We plan to hand out candy. We want to decorate too, but we have yet to do so. Everything we have is creepy, gory decor though. Last year in San Diego we had the BEST haunted grave yard, we were the hit of the neighborhood. It was so fun. We had so many trick-or-treaters we had to go to the store three times to get more candy! Doesn't look that active out here though. Our lights will be on and we will answer the door though regardless

Darin and I bought three bags. We are hoping it is enough.

Charlene, did you see Val's spider webs outside the house. Looks great!

I have 4 small bags. Didn't get the decorations out yet but if the wind stops tomorrow I'll have a few out, just not the large amount I wanted to
