Is it me or does anyone else notice that the when you come into barcelona, its pretty dang dark!! we have only a few street lights and not everyone has coach lights (or uses them) to light up the street.

It apprears that there is no plans to put up more in the community.

Has anyone noticed this? How are the other communities?

Sorry Darin! I vote for the light at the entrance of Barcelona but other than that I'm okay with it. Being able to see all those stars at night is one of the best things about living in Maricopa.

Go Broncos!!!!

...we like the fact that its quiet and dark as well but we couldnt help but notice its pretty dang dark in the neighborhood. I was just worried about all the idiots that try and break into homes or cars when its really dark out since not everyone has coach lights or uses their porch lights.

We love that it's dark, for the same reason, the stars at night. Byron bought a telescope, so he's out there on weekends usually looking for something in the sky. I will say, I am surprised there isn't a light at the entrance or at the very least, the roundabout. You would think they would at least be some kind of light at the roundabout.

in the mailer they said there were lights in the fountain...i forgot what their xcuse was for not turning them on...but i do recall it sounded very bogus....i like having the few lights in our community...i believe it was intentionally designed that way....love the starry skies...though it would be great to have a small light over by the mailbox for after dark walks to check the mail
