Mom 2 BNM,

I totally agree...I think it totally sucks to see an entrance that has looked the same for months. I mean once in awhile you see 1 guy "working" on the project and yet it looks the same...yet you look at Rancho Mirage and they have the whole dang thing put 80% together and the only thing there are models and <10 spec homes.

Linda and I admit it is sad...we can only hope one day that it will look respectible and not the bastard-ized community in Maricopa.

I don't care about the tower. it looks nice even half finished.

Question again: Does anyone know how to file a complaint to the HOA? Is there a website, email, etc.?

Seems like nobody knows and that concerns me. The dog thing is a city issue so that's resolved. How do i report people parking their yards like the ghetto, etc.?

Any help on the subject of this thread is appreciated.

A yelping is usually coyotes. kind of a yip-yip-yip. I have heard them in the area - but not recently. If there ends up ever being a large number of lost cats and small dogs - it is a good indication. Keep your cats INSIDE - especially at night.

We have a dog (close to auntieann)in Savano, but she is kenneled at night - never left outside after about 9:00 PM, gets in trouble for barking or her needs get attended to. She's still a puppy and learning.

I haven't really heard any dogs barking at night - not saying they don't. . .

Would like to see the Hummer and PT put where they should be. They may still be trying to get organized. I noticed their garage was filled with stuff - no room for cars - maybe once they get finished unpacking they will be able to put the extra cars in the garage. . .

well I see your concerns with your complaints....My neighbor and I have dogs crap on our yard, people parking cars on the street all the time, weeds and uncut grass in many yards and thats just in barcelona where we have <50 homes even built!

Hopefully things will change soon. I'm sure there are problem areas and eyesoars in each Tortosa community, like the Pickup truck you can see when you come into the community, behind the tower...its a long black trailer hooked up to a black truck. I would be soooo mad to come home nightly and see that thing take up the whole cul-de-sac everyday!

im going to complain too about the parking in the street and leaving garbage cans out for days on end....and if they dont respond then im going to put signs on peoples cars that say their car will be towed if it is not moved off of the street....especially when their driveway has spots available....and for the folks who leave their cans out....im thinking of moving their can around the corner or somewhere down the road and they will have to pay replacement costs to get new ones =)~~

You can e-mail the HOA as well: Chris - chashisaki@ccmcnet or Cindy - ccassin@ccmcnet.com.

i was recently told by the HOA that the Board of Directors (who in the world is on the Board??) approved some meaures and now they are going to start inspecting the properties in Tortosa. I'm not sure if that meant they haven't been doing any inspectiones up until now. They also received permission from the "Board" to use "self-help" to clean up yards after all other efforts to get the homeowner (or investor) to clean it up have failed.

I have to say, my neighborhood looks pretty nice, except for all of the sheets in windows - I especially love the hot pink sheets in the front windows = classy.

That's more like it! thanks for the help.

I don't mind the PT/Hummer people having the cars but they have a basketball hoop laying in the driveway that's empty and their cars parked in the rocks. I don't get it but it's not up to me to get it. I just want it taken care of. i have to see it every day.

other than that...thank you guys!

I'm not sure if its people that have complained about the cars in the street or some teenagers but for a couple weeks in a row there were eggs thrown at cars and work trucks in the street.

I realize people are annoyed but why vandalize someone's property if it's in the street?

The other day I saw actual scotch tape around someone's car ....same car that was egged.

I know about the egging because my car was one of them. I had family in town for a weekend and there wasn't enough room to park 5 cars in the garage and driveway. This was a weekend...

Ridiculous!!

I have no problem with people parking a car once in awhile in the street because of a party, or guests. I only have a problem with the people that consistently park their cars in the street. By no means does that mean I think anyone should egg a car or tape a car. It must have been teenagers; I can't see an adult doing that!

i agree that this should not be done....however that being said...i dont feel sorry for those that got hit that always park in the streets that have room in their driveway for cars

Guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

I in no way support or think it's ok for someone to vandalize your property. Especially when all they did was park in the street. Things like that should never be tolerated or understood.

If someone is going to constantly violate a set of rules and there is nobody that will enforce those rules then people will find a way to take the law into their own hands. Not agreeing or disagreeing but it is what it is.

I just hope it was a random egg attack by teenagers rather than people trying to get back at someone for breaking the rules. If that was the case things could get nasty.

I park both of my cars in my garage but I would hate to have a guest get there car egged that is why an IP camera is a great investment cheap and easy to install.

if people constantly break the rules...they will get theres whether the HOA decides to do something about it...or someone else does something far worse...

bringing this back from the dead!
I have notice that some people have decided to leave their dog out all day, including the evening, in which the dogs cry all night and keep us up all hours of the morning. no bueno when you gotta get up 4:30am for work! I dont think they are "neglicting" the pets but I do think they are not bringing them in the house because they may not want to get the house "dirty"...Ah!!! this is so fustrating! should we let HOA handle it or say something to them? keep in mind, we have NEVER met these people before...

You beat me to it Darin. I was going to vent my frustration of having barely 3-4 hrs of sleep last night with the two dogs barking and crying. We have two labs, but they sleep inside the house and don't bother anyone. We would not take our dogs barking in the backyard.
