Alert | | We use VERIZON. They work very well. We fly all over the country and have no problems with their network anywhere we go. Even here in Maricopa. Excellent service.

Alert | TG, here's the skinny on the crappy T-mobile coverage in tortosa (barcelona)...Yes you CAN cancel your contract and avoid early termination fee of $200!!!
but FYI...T-mobile and AT&T use the same tower and the coverage is only 0-2 bars in our community. I just tried to switch over the weekend...looks like you need to either go with Verizon or Sprint for decent service... FYI
on a side note, I'd like to have a GSM phone (t-mobile/AT&T) because incase your phone breaks and you wanted a new one, you could pick up one on ebay cheap then you would just swap out SIM cards..with verizon/ Sprint/alltel, you cant. your stuck..which is kinda iffey with me. I dont like that | | "...you knew that before you came here"- The 85239.com's stupid answer to every comment"

Alert | | Just went thru a big mess with AT&T. They sent out some techies and found that coverage in our area was "spotty-at best". They couldn't provide reliable service at our house. (Actually it was horrible to non-existant) They said their closest tower was 6 miles west of town and tower coverage goes to 12 miles in perfect conditions. They let us out of our contract after some major discussions, and we went with Alltel. They have a tower at the VW grounds. No problem since. Got a nice letter from AT&T saying that they hope we'll return to their service after they take care of their problems in the area. We had been with Cingular for several years and had no problems with them until AT&T took over. Coincidence? | | I thought it was great that I seemed to be getting more patience with age...turns out I just don't give a darn.

Alert | | I wouldnt necessarily call it equipment, they are the little peel off antennae's, cost me like $3.99 for 3 of them on ebay. Wonderful investment as far as I was concerned, some issues still occasionally, but I do like T-mobile and my plan was a huge savings, so it was worth it to me, for a 5 second fix, it gave me one less issue to complain about.
