Alert | | Anyone have any idea why U of A planted that corn and let it die? Actually why is it still there? I was thinking of going and taking some and make a Thanksgiving decoration for the front of my house, if it's still there? <img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/tongue2.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Tongue' align='absmiddle'> | | Go Broncos!!!!

Alert | | Maybe it's for the Ethanol plant. It doesn't need to be alive to harvest the Ethanol out of it... Atleast I think it doesn't. | | Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem. ______________________________________ *************************************** San Diego Super Chargers! GO!!! Alert | Feed for animals....they let it dry out (die off) in the field... less issues when it sits in the hopper ...before reaching the silo
sinbads correct about the ethanol plant but I believe they are getting it from Ak-Chin farms and some other larger farms like Pratt Farms...
Did you see the cotton plants in bloom? Can't see that in Jersey! | | ANYONE HOME? Residential Yard Clean-ups and Maintenance for more info go to the Business Section under Landscaping-Maintenance Click Here for our website.

Alert | | Our lantanas too are sad looking, one looks OK, the other, not so much and we have watered and we did get a good amount of rain this summer...also noticed most of the lantanas around the area have been in bad shape. I wonder if maybe there is a disease killing the lantanas now or maybe, this is the time of year they start to die off and then will start going back to normal in a few months? or maybe the heat just finally got to them all.

Alert | | I'm having the same lantana issue. I just lost one completely and another is looking pretty sad. I've had lantana for years and never had one die on me. I'm concerned because it's almost time for the white flies to come back and that always makes them struggle a bit. Hopefully I can salvage the rest.
