We have been here since May and I still have not been able to regulate the the showers temperature. I thought it was only us, but after reading your comments I don't feel that bad. Was starting to think it was a plumbing problem caused when the house was built.

It bites, since even though it is summer, I still like to have a shower that does not require me to take a deep breath before roasting.

GEEZ..CNC..I didn't even think about that..could be a unnecessary expense paying to heat water when you wish it would come out cooler...DUH? We are still fighting off eachother to get to the sink first thing in the am.....last thing in the pm....i need cool h2o to wake up and the same after work to cool off!

Have you done it long enough to notice a difference in your bill?

Not really...I really figured this out on accident because I went out of town for a couple weeks and when I came back just forgot to turn it back on...then realized that my showers were actually tolerable...I think it would save around 20 to 30 bucks not sure just a guess

I can handle not having cold or even luke warm water to splash on my face but I am soooooo tired of brushing my teeth with hot water. I had the plumber come out and check it as part of our warranty work...He told me it was just the Summer heat and there was nothing we could do about it. Since some people have cold water and others do not, it makes you wonder if some of the builders cut corners by not burying the lines deep enough.

If your teeth/gums are that delicate, get a glass of ice water.
