On a positive note....I called the ladies at the HOA office yesterday around 1pm..and informed them that someone decided to "dump" a rather large tree in the street in front of the storm drain by the wash... I received a call back around 2pm...thanking me for bringing this matter to their attention.. they sent the landscaper out and he temporailly moved the tree out of the drain area and will be back today to remove it. So thanks HOA for the quick response...with last nights rain the street surely would have flooded!

GARDEN YOU ARE ALWAYS MAKING POSITIVE STATEMENTS ABOUT HOW YOU APPRECIATE THE HOA. ONE REASON IS YOU DONT PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR THE HOA. SO IT DOESNT EFFECT YOU. SURE YOU LIVE IN YOUR EX HUSBANDS HOME AND WITH HIS GROWN CHILD BUT YOU STILL DONT PAY LIKE THE REST OF US.

yikes, sounds like a personal stab more than anything. I do pay the hoa out of my pocket and appreciate that they actually are doing something. I think the common street areas look very nice and are well maintained. I think we pay too much, but everything is a work in progress.

You managed to leave out some other pertinent personal info I made public at the time I disclosed my living arrangements (my mistake)...let me refresh your memory... I do pay the HOA "out of pocket."....it is included and reflected in my monthly lease payment...I fail to see the difference if the payment is mailed by me directly to the HOA...or the "landlord"...It's still MY pocket it is coming out of....geeze! So, yes it does AFFECT me...just like you and everyone else! Sorry if my positive comment upset you so......I don't know what I was thinking.........
