I wonder if it would be possible to take our HOA to court to get the fees lowered. There have to be some type of anti-extortion laws or something. We litterally receive nothing for our fees and that is not right.

The HOA was replaced once about 8 months ago.  Does anyone know how they went about it.  Do we need to talk to the actual buidlers in the community, like Shea?

The builder of my subdivision is Atrius (formerly Homelife Communities).  I honestly dont know if they can do anything about it.

from what I understand - people were complaining to the builders about the lack of response from the former hoa, which is how it got changed.
