What is the policy in VRED for having a vehicle parked in the backyard. There is a home at the corner of the Wash and Honeycutt(in fact, it is the corner house) that has a car parked in the backyard. I hope that this is not going to be a permanent decoration, because it is not as invisible as the owner may think.

And I see it from another community!

You can contact the Villages HOA and ask. How can you see into their yard if you are not in the community?

Put in a Complaint.

Ofcourse they are going to know who put the complaint in. They will also get your address so be ready for a yelling match or ugly stares from them.

All of my neighbors don't have their backyards landscaped and it's going on 2 years now. The reason I haven't reported them is that I don't want to start any crap I can't finish

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

Since you can see in all our yards along the wash did you happen to see who stole my tent in the middle of the afternoon on Sunday? My 3 year old was having a lot of fun "camping" in the backyard and now we had to explain to him how someone who is not nice took something that didn't belong to them. What a shame.
My son is so dissappointed and just wants his tent back.Even though it was something not really valuable we still feel so violated that someone actually hopped the fence came onto our property and took it out of our yard. We figured someone who saw it walking by had seen it during the week and must have come back to take it but I never thought about how other homes could see in our yard and they posssibly could have come for it too. What a shame.
We did make a police report, though we are pretty sure we will not see it again.Sad that my 3 year old had to be taught about thiefs so young. SHAMEFUL!!

LOL...I believe that I can help you on this one. I don't remember what time, but my wife saw a TENT flying through the sky inside a dust devil. She got me and we watched some folks in a pick up(red I believe) grab it. It flew from VRED all the way across the wash and a couple of hundred yards down Honeycutt Rd (yes, it landed in the road).

Sorry, I didn't get a license number for that dirt devil or the pick up truck. So tell the lil ones that mother nature reached down and yanked it from your backyard. The rest was good luck for somebody in a pick-up truck. Give humanity a second chance and sorry about your tent.

I was told that the complaints are anonymous...They require you to give your information at the HOA office when filing a complaint, but the people who are served the violation notice don't see that information. Is this not true?

They are who we thought they were!

AZ Law now requires identification of complainer be made available to the recipient of said complaint on recipients request. So, the complaint won't be accepted unless you id yourself.

yeah... That sucks .. cause then you have a neighbor problem.

Just put your other neighbor's name and phone number on the complaint. You wouldn't want him to be mad at YOU.
