Driving home today, I noticed a Sparkletts Water truck at the clubhouse.

Seeing as I don't work at the clubhouse and I don't know for sure and I wouldn't want to make any assumptions, I am asking you people, if our barely solvent HOA is paying for bottled water at the clubhouse?

I know that in the gym, there is a water fountain.

If the HOA is paying for bottled water, which I am not saying it is, then this is obviously a place to cut costs.  I know that here at home, we have discontinued bottled water to save a few bucks a month.  Every little bit helps.

God forbid the queens of the clubhouse should drink filtered tap water.

I am sorry I inquired as to how my money is being spent.  Please don't send me any letters about the landscaping I did without prior approval.

Speaking of our HOA, does anyone know if they have been revoking the gym/pool privileges for letting non-Village people enter (I know we are allowed guests)?  It seems every summer there is a group of kids (young adults?) who use the gym for socializing.  They might lazily do a set, but most of it is to lay up and watch the T.V., talk on the cell phones or each other as loud as possible.  It is annoying having to ask them to move off equipment and they act like you're infringing on their rights.  I think alot of people are probably too afraid/nice/non-confrontational to ask them to move and end up not getting in a good work-out.  It is nice to know our HOA dues can facilitate non-Villagers social hour.  They could invite them in for free Sparklets!

Perhaps the office girls can have them in for teen social hour.

I know what you mean about the gym.  I go there after dinner, because any earlier and there are too many kids lingering about.
