My husband did his morning rounds on Monday, and found that our trash had been stolen from our green trash bin sitting on the street, we figured they took 2 tall kitchen bags full, first thing that comes to mind is identity theft, just want to remind everyone to shred mail with important information. we live in Sagecrest.

I also live in Sagecrest and I think I may know who is doing this. Ever since last year theres been a guy on a bike that comes around and he always asks us if we need any work done in our yard when we are outside and we tell him no. He came to our door and asked us as well and we keep telling him no. One day he came to our door and asked us if we had electronics in our garbage and if he could look in our garbage and we said noooo. So last week I saw him up the road on Oster looking in garbage cans. I was so upset and told my husband to call the cops. Needless to say we did not call the cops because something happened between that time and he was gone when we got back. Next time I see him I will call the police. I've never saw him as a threat, just some guy looking for stuff.

I'm glad the PCSO bike patrols are out there looking for things like this. I'm glad our HOA paid good money for this service and we're getting the bang for our buck on it.

our HOA paid $1600 a year ago... we've already had at least a dozen (possibly more) 4-6hr patrols.. somehow that doesn't equate to getting our "bang for our buck"?... you're delusional..

I was trying to find a post that said her husband had his Blue Haro bike stolen because I saw him on a blue bike but the name of the bike was scratched off. Has anyone seen this post? Maybe we should all look out for him on trash day. That day I saw him, he was just riding down Butterfield so I really can't call the police because of that but if I I see him digging in people's trash again then I will.
