LA Fitness is opening in Maricopa in about 5 months. This will be on Porter Road and Case Grande Highway intersection, in the "Wells" shopping mall besides Walmart and Homedepot. I was at LA fitness last week to get a new memebership and General manager at LA fitness (Chandler and 48th st) told me this. In fact he offered me great promotions for annual memberships (no contract) and said i can use the LA fitness at maricopa when it opens. That was a great incentive
If anyone needs a great gym (anytime and extreme are small, which is why i went to LA fitness), try enrolling at LA fitnees, Ahwautkee branch
I think the manager's name is Eddie Meadows who offered me great promotions as i was a Maricopa resident. I guess they are buidling clientele for their maricopa branch

I've heard that rumor for 2yrs living out here. I hope it happens but I doubt it. I'm starting to think that Mountainside wont happen. We'll be stuck with Anytime.

<--- barely ever can make it to our gym in the Vreds.. lol. nevertheless getting in a car and driving to one.

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

If LA Fitness were to open in 5 months the foundation would have to be poured by now. the last time I drove by Porter and CG Hwy its not even close to ready. .

If that's true, than that will be my new gym and I could walk there in 10 minutes. I hope it's true.
In fact, I'm going to call LA Fitness and confirm this...

It's not that I don't believe you. I would just like to ask myself. Thanks for the information.

All right, at least we will have enough gyms to help us out with all of the fast food we are eating!!!! Now, lets bring on some retail stores!

Live every day as if it were your last and smile!

I'd love to see it done in 5-7 months. They haven't even finished the sewer lines.

Does LA fitness have childcare? I am so excited about MF because of that, but Porter and the cg highway is a lot closer to home.

Not sure, but I would assume so.
