05/27/2008 11:41 AM Alert

My sprinkler/watering system isn't working and when I checked the box I have a message saying No AC. It's a hunter model and when I looked in the book it says it's not receiving power.

How would I figure out how to fix this? Anyone else had this problem?

I need help and don't want my plants to die.

Guess no one has had this error message.

Well I amnot receiving power to the box and I need to have an electrician or landscaping company take a look at it.

Anyone have any recommendations for someone to call?

Take a volt meter go to the leads at the valve in the ground than back track to your control box. See what you find look for loss wires.

Check you breaker in the breaker box. It is marked landscape or irrigation.

Turn it off and back on to reset it.

I've checked the circuit breaker and reset....but no luck. I called an electrician so will go from there. :-(

Thanks for the suggestions.

I have a Hunter Pro-C (outside installation).  If you have this model, it has a reset button on the back side to the panel, just above the 9-volt battery compartment.  Maybe worth a try if you haven't already done so.

Thanks. I have the Hunter XC-400 model. I did try the reset and that didn't work either. I'm stumped. So hopefully the electrician will find something tomorrow. :-)

Just posting what happened in case anyone has this problem.

The electrician came out, Robert McCullough from R Dale Electric. Had to put his name and info because he was great. He came by and checked my system and found that it was receiving power. There was a landscaper at another house and he went and talked to them. Found out my box was under warranty and exchanged it for me and reinstalled.
Unbelievably great service. I can't tell you enough how great his service was. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone that needs an electrician.

PM me if you ever need contact info.
