03/01/2008 12:15 PM Alert

I live on Soft Wind Drive, and my truck was parked in front of the house one night and was struck by another vehicle at around 12:10AM on December 15th.

It did a good amount of damage, but probably as much to the vehicle that hit it. Unfortunately they failed to comply with Arizona State law and stop to provide insurance information.

I therefore contacted Maricpoa PD, who wrote it up as a hit and run.

Any information on this accident would be appreciated. If the responsible party comes forward and payes for the damage I won't involve the PD further.

Be responsible for your actions, and slow down!

.....or at least the driveway in compliance with your CC&Rs. And why wait almost 3 months before whining about it?

Wow, sorry to hear about this.   I know how you feel.  DH's truck was stolen a couple of months ago at a home he was working out on a Sunday morning.  Luckily we got it back but all of his tools and pool cleaning equipment was taken.  We're still replacing all of it.  Totally sucks.

Guess it's a hard lesson for us to learn.  I have a hard time accepting that there are people out there that can actually do things like that.

I hope that your insurance stepped up to the plate and helped out to fix the truck.

Well, twostep, unfortunately I have liability only on my poor old truck. Thanks for your sentiment.

Richtig, alanf: I'm sure both of you have better things to do than be unhelpful morons. I wasn't whining, I was trying to utilize the resources of this community in a last ditch effort to find the perps.

Man that totally sucks.  But I know the feeling......we were in the same boat.  The insurance didn't cover any of the items in the truck only the truck itself.

I think using any avenue to get a message out there is great.  You might also might want to put a post on Desert Cedars HOA web site.  Some of our neighbors might get on their and not here.  Also worth a shot.

Yeah, okay. Moron huh. Funny how this moron has never had his insured vehicles damaged while properly/legally parked in my driveway.

But hey, here's a bottle of Tylenol because I've heard that stupid hurts!
