I found this on the city's website

FLORENCE ––The Pinal County Division of Environmental Health (PCDEH) announced today a new West Nile Virus positive mosquito sample. The sample was collected in the City of Maricopa on July 17th, 2007. This brings to five the total number of positive mosquito samples in Pinal County during the 2007 mosquito season.

PCDEH will conduct mosquito fogging in the City of Maricopa weather permitting, beginning Monday July 23, 2007 thru Thursday July 26, 2007 from 12:01 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.

I would rather deal with night time fogging then have to worry about getting a West Nile Virus bite.

Of course it is better than WN, but the problem is DD is alergic and breaks out in hives/fever so it is still a pain. Plus all of the toys have to come in every night for 4 days. They just did this 2 weeks ago. I think there is probably a "source" around here somewhere and there may be more than one solution that could be used.

I'm sure that any suggestions that you have the County would be very interested in hearing about.

Where I am, a large part of the source comes from farm land and standing water that exists on the Ak-Chin reservation. Not a lot that the city or county can do about it other than fog regularly.

Or.....I got it....a Giant bug zapper...rather than a water tower like some towns, a super size bug zapper.
