I took my threee dogs down to the wash area to run, just like every night.  THe other evening, I was putting their leashes back on and my black lab, who is very old, walked out into the street (rancho parkway)  I yelled at her and she was coming back to me, howeverr a white car sped by and hit my dog.  The car didn't even stop, just kept right on going.  My dog layed there on the pavement and I was so helpless, cause I had my other dogs .   Anyway, my lab finally got up and we got home.  She layed around for several days, and now is better.  I realize I should not have let them off the leash, but everyone does.  My only concern is that the person that hit her never even stopped.  very sad.
