I know this topic has been brought up before but I will ask again. Do any of you work from home? If you don't mind doing what?

Thanks

We work from home selling romantic novelties, adult toys, spa products. We also have just recently branched into doing some risque theme parties, like pole dancing and coming soon - lessons on some 'below the belt' activities.

I hope this helps you, listed are all companies that are legit, they are all phone work, some computer work, customer service type jobs. some offer benefits after 3 months, some dont offer any, all pay though so if u dont mind being on the phone, you can work from home and make money to help the bills! some are part time, full time, days, nights, weekends, depends on the company. I hope this helps you, good luck

Alpine Access (These guys actually hire you as an employee. You work from home and after three months you are able to sign up for benefits, 401k etc.)

storom88 really great list, a great deal of call centers are outsourcing their customer service work to work at home, they usually require you get a 2nd phone line and then they set you up with their system. Check Call Center Careers at http://www.callcentercareers.com, they have one listed currently. You can also check Virtual Call Centers http://www.callcen.net/virtual.htm Best of luck to you!

With Alpine, you are an employee, but most if not all their reps are part time, which leaves you out of insurance and 401k. Only full time regulars get those perks. Call center work from home can be very stressful if you have family to care for--you need quiet background and no disturbances.

VIP DESK is hard to get into.

Watch out for the market research firms, or any other contractor type arrangements. I know someone who was stiffed for a good sum of pay and it is hard to get them to pay if you are not an employee.

I work from home as a Mary Kay consultant. I love the flexibilty - especially with all the doctor appts my kids have (my son) for his special condition. I also love that I get to meet wonderful new people in this area!!
