Not to mention their radar guns have an accuracy margin of 1 MPH. If this is true, they are really wasting everyone's time and money. There are far more dangerous things going on than people going 1 MPH over. Like red light runners. That's right, people going 1 MPH over are definitely more dangerous than red light runners.  | |

Alert | While .001 mph over the posted limit is speeding, the challenge is proving the speed. A tolerance of between 5 - 10 mph is typical. Otherwise, the officer is likely wasting everyone's time because anything less can be successfully challenged in court.
