Alert | | It's probably a Centex Home and the crappy Home Team Pest Defense is responsible for treating this. Home Team Pest Defense sucks and shouldn't be affiliated with Centex because they give them a bad name. I'm sure their problems with termites are tied to the lack of quality job that Home Team did on the initial treatment. | | They are who we thought they were!

Alert | | Stormin Norman found our termites a few weeks ago. I called Centex and they sent out Home Team. We had 10-15 tubes!! Luckily no damage, atleast that we know of in the drywall etc. It is very irritating since we have only been here 1yr. | | Senior Member Posts: 5042 Joined: Jan 2006 You better make it count, cause you can't get it back!

Alert | | Were the termites easy to spot? I'm worried because we had that crappy Home Team Pest Defense who was supposed to do the initial treatment and I'm sure they either didn't do anything or did a shady job on it. | | They are who we thought they were!

Alert | | Yes, now that I know what to look for! They look like little, thin dirt lines coming from the ground and up the foundation!! Good luck! |

Alert | | Durring construction it is the concrete company who is responsible for termite treatments, It's been a while, but I don't think Home Team offers that service, I may be wrong. There should be a sticker in your electrical panel showing the date of the final treatment, the company name should be there. | | ..... If you can dream it, I can build it.

Alert | we also found over a dozen tubes.... and had hometeam come and treat. The right after the holidays, we found even more NEW ones! I know they are new as they were not in the closet under our stairs when I took the holiday decorations out, or when I put them back. But they are there now, and they are big and massive (and discusting!) Hometeam had to come and "foam" the walls surrounding the closet. Makes me get the hibbie jibbies just thinking about it.
Here's the kicker. If we ever sell, there is a disclosure form. It will ask if there was ever a termite issue. Good luck to all our fellow termite ridden homeowners!

Alert | | I hope they don't come to Sagecrest! | | Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem. ______________________________________ *************************************** San Diego Super Chargers! GO!!!
