My neighbor called the management company that runs the Desert Cedars HOA a couple days ago and was told the current staff has only been there a couple weeks because the old staff were "let go" because of misappropriation of funds.

This may be a good topic for the meeting.

I find that very interesting ...
Here's hoping that all the disgruntled residents of Desert Cedars will show up for the next meeting and be prepared with questions and information and get the anwers they deserve.

I'm not even going to fuel this fire except to say that is the most incorrect statement I've heard to date.

But please come to the meeting to get all your questions answered. There is nothing that is being hid at all.

Yeah, the story is that it's kind of hard to misappropriation of fund when there are no funds.

Please do show up at the meeting as get all the questions that you have out. The Board will be more than happy to answer any questions. In addition to that any financial information that you would like to see can been viewed at AAM's office with a written request.

Or maybe there are no funds because of misappropriation. Unless you've looked in the details of where the money went how do we know?

As stated before you are more than welcome to review any bills, check registers or reports. All you need to do is to send a request in writing and set an appointment.

What's the address? Perhaps this information should also be on the website?

By the way, there's a question about liens on the HOA website that hasn't been answered for five days.

The address for AAM is listed on the web site along with the contact information. Barbara's name will be replaced shortly. The new manager was just named.

Sorry, I'm answering questions as we type. The lien question has already been answered. I've been a bit busy with my job.

It sounds like part of the initial post is true!

Noe, Barbara left AAM around Halloween almost three months ago. The statement that the current staff has only been there a couple of weeks is incorrect. The interim community manager was actually the area manager. She was at our last meeting as the manager in October.

Our new community manager was put into place a couple of weeks ago but she has been with AAM for a long time. Our community manager has also been with AAM for a long time.

It's funny how rumors get started. But that is all it is are rumors.
