Alert | We saw him when he played a free concert in Central Park in NYC back around 97. It was a GREAT show! Billy Joel joined him and the crowd went wild. Anyone know if he is planning on touring?

Alert | there is a rumor, that after the first of the year, there will be an annoucement of a Garth concert. I was listening to KMLE before the holidays and they kept talking about garth and about the LA concerts he's doing that sold out in just minutes and how they had to add a couple of extra shows because the demand was so great and someone called in and said something about, why doesn't garth come to phoenix...and Dave Pratt actually said, "after the holiday break, we may have an annoucement regarding garth". to me, that sounds like either he's coming to phoenix or maybe vegas and they'll give tickets away. just seemed weird to me that a caller would mention phoenix and then have dave say that an annoucement may be made. just seems weird.
i saw garth back in 93...he played at a local fair back in PA...i actually stood in line. i was 19, wasn't really into country at the time, but i knew i liked him and wanted to see him. would love to see him again. awesome performer. | | | |

Alert | | I saw him in 92....in LA. Great concert! I was more into country back then. Alan Jackson is another good performer, along with Vince Gil. I have a teenager now and I listen to Hip Hop....go figure...it is actually very good! I just always figured myself to be into country music, but when Vince Gil married Amy Grant.....my heart was crushed!!!! | | | |

Alert | | never understood what people think is so great about garth jackson or is it michael brooks i get them confused. he had two good songs and then he became a bandwagoneer. seem all those youngons that listen to pop stuck a cowboy hat on thier head and said yea i'm a cowboy now and garth is our man. | |
