Meet with our landscaper today and just wanted to let you all know that the grass is coming along well. It's going to take a little longer but with the ground temps staying in the 60's the grass will be fine.

Also to the question of the irrigation system that detects water. Yes there is such a thing. It works off of satalite but is very expensive. So you have to decide if the little rain we do get is worth a huge investment into a system that would only be of use several weeks a year.

thanks for the update.

how much is "expensive"?

I would like to see less green belts, and maybe some nice rock displays, and save on some water. we are in the desert afterall

i had to laugh when i re read this. anyone see the green belt areas over by the roundabout or the swing park just north of carmen and west of gavilan? doesnt look like the seeding took at all. honestly i think overseeding is a waste to begin with, but if they are going to do it, start in october like EVERYONE else did and their rye grass came in just fine. what a waste of $22k bucks imo

While you're looking into the expensive side of things...can you verify why we are spending so much on "website fees?" There is waaaay too much money each month being spent on something that could be done in a far more inexpensive fashion.

Thank you! :-)
