 Alert | I believe married couples see me as a threat, so have had issues establishing any long term relationship (basically play buddies and people to do things with).
I have my daughter (5) every other weekend and am forever having trouble having things to do with someone other than just her and me...we are always doing something fun (most of the time because I don't want to over indulge her), but because I only get visitation and I live 45 miles from her regular school and friends cant offer the relationships that I could if I live right around the corner.
lived in AZ since 1988...in Maricopa for 4 yrs...professional....engage father when it has come to my children....have my oldest daughter in college at MCC she's 21....any other NCP Dads or Moms with the same issue...let chat.. | | | |

Alert | i was raised by a single dad. i have the utmost respect for fathers that step up!
where to you live? I have a 5 year old girl who would love a new friend to play with.
What kind of things do you like to do? I have a hubby who could use a new pal too. | |

We do everything a 5 yr old holds interest in...
park/playground
dogs out for play
fish at the lake
zoo etc..
movies..
loads of toys so no shortage of things to do around the house...
have seperate play room... to accomidate Santa's annual download...<img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/crazy.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Crazy' align='absmiddle'>
power wheeling...have 2
flying kites
art projects...
etc, etc, etc..
not a drinker and watch my language...have 21 yr old so I have been down this path before....natural Dad! | | | |

Alert | We live in Cobblestone Farms.
We have separate toy room, and a loft where our girls (5 and 2) can watch movies or play games. Basically, it's just another space they make messy hehe And no shortage of things to do here either!
My dad was awarded full custody in the early 80's, back when that didn't happen. He said he even got child support for awhile! It wasn't easy being a girl being raised by a single guy, but I think my dad did a stellar job!
We'd love to meet you and your daughter sometime. Perhaps when Christmas is over would be best, as we are pretty busy. Will you have her more over Christmas break from school?
