Alert | | There are both city police and the sheriff sitting at various stop signs on Smith Enke so be careful and don't do any California stops.

Alert | California stops
HEY!!! I resemble that remark! | | Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem. ______________________________________ *************************************** San Diego Super Chargers! GO!!! Alert | | Lol I'm from San Diego too, but luckily learned to drive out here. No CA stops for me, but I do tend to go over the speed limit on smith-enke just a bit. : / Thanks for the warning.

Alert | I'm glad they're out there sometimes as well. I usually cruise along around 40 (in the 35 MPH) zone and there's always someone tailgating or passing me going like 10+ MPH faster than me. And I swear only about 3 out of 10 cars does a complete stop. One time I started to go through when it was my turn and another car went so I had to stop right in the middle of the intersection to wait (it wad clearly my turn). And then the car after them tried to go! At that intersection they do worse than California stops, they just completely blow through them.
Anytime we leave the house we have to go through that intersection so it's kind of annoying.

Alert | | There is a school being built across from Senita and hopefully a stop sign up soon so drivers get used to it, the school zone should start soon as well. The police on the motorcycle have caught a ton of speeders on the tiny stretch, 35 mph is plenty, especially with that huge dip.

What I love is on Honeycutt (right of JWP its 35 and on SmithEnke (of JWP its 45) and visa versa for the end of thee 2 roads at Porter THATS how I got a ticket on SmithEnke (by Province) I thought both roads were 45 all the way

Alert | | It's great they are out there. At times, we all need to be reminded that they are out there not to give us tickets, but to keep us safe. We can help by reminding each other to come to complete stops. Stopping completely at the stop sign is just the right thing to do even if they weren't out there.

Right. That's why they are giving out tickets for cutting through shopping malls instead of say, red light runners. Which do you think is going to cause more damage? (Hint: Phoenix is known for red light running deaths, due to the speed and angles involved). | | Joined: Jul 2005
