Posting a few pictures of the LAB. The Lab is well mannered. Please.. let's find the owner!

Removed per PSW enlightenment of the situation.

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

One more fun fact -

The gentleman that has your dog is treating it with the respect that he treats his own.

I am glad that we have people in my neighborhood like him.

Very nice of you to take him in. I am sure someone will come home to find their dog has escaped and they will freak and be looking for him. Hopefully, they come on here first.

No chip. =( and she IS a sweetie!

Typically I wouldn't post pics of a found dog (especially a purebreed.) There are people out there who will claim purebreeds as their own & then sell them for profit. There are also others who will claim dogs as their own & then do dispicable things with or to them. When you find
a dog/cat, please just say "call me w/ a description." I know that you were just trying to help Sinbad!

I assume you've posted signs, called the local vets, called AC&C.

Just got a boxer home tonight that had been missing for a week. The owners had absolutely no idea what to do to find him & assumed she'd just wanted back home....yeah right. Anyway, the person who picked up up finally had her scanned for a chip. She had one & after many many many phone calls (because the chip was not registered!!!!!!) I was able to track an owner.

I have posted signs on the mailboxes, have't called local vets and AC&C yet.
Kimerly, could you post their numbers here?

(I met a couple who walked their dog and they actually recognized the dog. She was missing and found by them couple of months before. They even know her name is 'Helila', but they don't know her owner...so I guess her owner lives in crossings or sagecrest.)

When you get Helila back home, give them a good tongue lashing about not putting tags on their dog. Tell them the next time she's found, AC&C will give them a citation for Dog At Large.

called vets and left my number.... however they didn't get any phone calls about this dog yet... and its been 2 days ... I started to worry now.

Kimberly, I am leaving Thursday for vacation, what do you suggest me to do if I haven't found the owner by the time?

She behaved really well when she is with people... when she is alone, she already broken one mug, two vases and one plate, which I placed high in various places.... she barked all night when I put her in the cage. Peed multiple times in the house... (thank god I replaced carpet with tile). She went crazy if I left her in the yard or in the garage or in the cage. She went into freezing cold pool everytime I let her go to back yard. And she is on heat now... (good that my boys are fixed).

I misunderstood his msg. He said he was picking her up today if he could get you to keep her one more night.
If she's picked up today, she has until next Thursday (most likely - because Christmas is on a Tue & they do euthanasia's on Tue&Thurs and a dog is typically kept 4-6 days before PTS)
This is a GOOD time of year for shelters & rescue animals. Lots of people adopting. I will keep an eye on her & the the Phoenix & Tucson Lab Rescue know she is there but I can't make any promises she gets adopted or pulled by a rescue.

Update.

She is out of my hands now. I took her to animal hospital today and AC&C will pick her up there. Lets pray that the owner will show up and find her before ......

Owner called!

Tonight after I sent my boys to their temp home I got a phone call from the owner, the descriptions match well. I told the owner how to find her and I believe they will get her back tomorrow. And by the way, her name is Delila.

Case dismissed! Thanks for everybody, especially Kimberly. And I wish you all a Merry Christmas!

Yeah! Delila home for the Holidays! Hopefully this will open the owners eyes to the importance of micro chipping, or at least a collar & tags. Thanks for keeping her safe macboat!
