Dawn,
A Mixed Answer.

My mother loves it. She thinks the lunch buffet is the best ever.

I don't think it's that great. Last time I was the I got Moo Goo Gai Pan, and the chicken hadn't been properly trimeed and cleaned. I found conjealed white fat and connective tissue on most of the pieces. Will it kill me? No. But it's not very appetizing.

We actually think the food is pretty good. It's the service that is AWFUL!
The snarly waitresses need a lesson in good customer service. Just my opinion....Each time we have been in there they have been understaffed. We have wanted to get food from there several times & haven't because the dining experience was so poor. We want it HOT, and to eat in (they are not cheap) so take out is not an option for us.

I like it, and I've had good service there so far. I have only eaten from the lunch menu, which is really cheap for what you get. You basically get what you pay for, but I in no way expected gourmet food from a casual asian place, so I was satisfied.

We ate there about a year ago and have never been back. Service was bad, food was sub par for the high prices. I believe trying it for yourself though. I would love to get a chinese take-out restaurant here in Maricopa

I'm from the "cleanliness is next to Godliness" generation, so no rating less than an "E" is acceptable to me!

I've yet to find any Chinese (rather American-Chinese) restaurants that are edible here. I'm still waiting for either a great local joint to open up, or at the very least a Pei Wei/PF Changs or pick up sticks...

The China Wall is absolutely nasty! I ordered won-ton soup and it had all this crap in there, such as these large chunks of vegetation that I think could have been cabbage, but I wasn't sure. The taste was awful and the soup looked like someone had poured the day's garbage into a pot of steaming hot water. Never again!

Why is it that we can have multiple pizzerias but only one chinese restaurant? And no, I do not count that awful Panda place as "Chinese!" The only place I would remotely consider in Maricopa is in Basha's. And that place could be better with more choices, but understandably, they are just carved out of a hole in the wall, so they don't have the room for variety.

I used to love the breakfast menu when it was Hop Sings and have only eaten at Great Wall once and it was just so-so.

Want amazing Chinese? "Asian Gril"l on Riggs and Alma School is AMAZING. I eat there every other week and have never had a bad meal. The funny thing is that the owners actually live in Maricopa. Maybe I'll try Great Wall again but we'll see.

Maybe I'm too paranoid of food borne illnesses, but take a look at this:

The closest Pei Wei is just east of I-10 and Ray Rd., in shopping center, southeast corner of 54th Street and Ray Road.   It's not easy to see as it sets back from 54th street a bit.
