 Alert | I liked the Nintendo confrence but my dh thought it sucked because thier was nothing he didn't already know. I love the family games so it was awseome for me.
I thought Microsoft sucked and it was boring.
Sadly I missed the Sony one.

Alert | i am a self professed sony fanboy so i will admit i liked their presentation, BUT i did like MS's presentation too. i loved seeing the MS guy rock out with Rock Band, thought that was way cool. i still dont understand some people obsession with the Halo series, but whatever hehe.
Nintendo was ok, still irks me that they cater to the casual gamers, i dont think they will ever change their strategy. | |

Alert | It was definitely lacking the excitement of last year. Maybe they'll rethink the scaled down approach.
MS:
- I'm in agreement that Halo's over rated, but most of the fun is in getting a lot of people to play together (and Halo 3 will definitely accomplish that).
Sony:
- I would have liked to see more on Ratchet & Clank. Also, how about some MGS4 gameplay? It seemed like a lot more of the same promises and still having to wait for it to be delivered.
Nintendo:
- WiiFit? More mass appeal, can't blame them for that. Metroid Prime 3 looks to be more for the "hardcore" gamers. A lot of reviewers have heralded the FPS controls. August 27 isn't that far away. | |

Alert | kojima said that the trailer was made from in game engine pieces so the game will look that good, but i agree we need some gameplay. hope a demo comes to the PSN at some point.
Ratchet is due october 2nd, thats less than 3 months away as well. its a great time to be a gamer i think | |

I'm happy for the PS3 pricedrop (too bad the lower priced system isn't around anymore). I already know that I will eventually pick one up, it's just a matter of waiting for the right games and possibly getting a good package deal. Also, if there's a drought in 360 & Wii games and I need something to play! | |
