Alert | | Just wanted to say that I had the pleasant experience of eating tacos at Mi Casitas Tacos on Honeycut just off of the 347. It is a small eatery, more like a lunch or take out place, but I would just say that anyone who enjoys good, authentic style tacos should take the time to stop by there. I know I will be stopping by on the way home often!! The guy there is one of the owners, he was really great, the food was quick and good, even the sides were tasty!

Alert | We had take out from there last night. It was great food... I say was because ..I tore that stuff up!!!
We phone in our order a head of time. I didn't have to wait long when I got there. I had the Roll tacos...tasted like home made roll tortillas. Daughter had beef tacos and the wife had tostadas.
They are really good people and they always love serving up a smile with every order.
(they make me miss my taco shop in San Diego..after a night of drinking and partying.. Mexican food taste so darn good) | | Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem. ______________________________________ *************************************** San Diego Super Chargers! GO!!! Alert | Vampiros...... mmmmmmm.....
I love Mi Casitas... and I happen to like the pace of our home-grown restaurants out here.. they're a little slow, but it gives the vibe of still having that "small-town" appeal.. which is probably why most of us chose this place..

Man Sinbad, I used to hit this 24 hr mexican fast food place down on MLK jr Blvd downtown S.D. after partying it up(years and years ago). Can't remember the name now though. They made some wicked good Carne Asada Tortas. Used to wake up with some messed up shirts though

Alert | | I''m a carne asada quesadilla and horchata nut. I always stop at Mi Casitas when I can to get A horchata or the quesadilla, everyone is always so very nice and I LOVE thier food. I took a neighbor there once and she had to share her carne asada burrito because it was HUGE. | | Jody

Alert | | I love Mi Casitas - I will admit that they can be a little slow at times, but I always call my orders in a pick them in up. They have great food, we eat breakfast from there usually once a weekend. I would definently have to say they are the best place in town, I know that they are the only place in town that I have on my speed dial of the cell phone!!

Me too....I still haven't found anyplace that makes a Carne Asada burrito as good as the one at Adelberto's off of Rosecrans near Point Loma. I still swing by there any time I am in San Diego
