Something like Cobblestone Auto Spa in Chandler. Someplace you could kick back, have a coffee and read the paper while you car is getting worked on. Ahhh if I only had tons of investment $$$!!!

Fletchers is ridiculous, they always want you to leave your vehicle for the day, you might get it back 5 mins before closing.

I know a place called Dust Devil Detailing that does car wash, and oil changes at your house. PM me for the info.

I have ran a breakeven analysis on a carwash for Maricopa, and it's really hard to make the numbers work. The killer is the price of the property. A car wash, by it's very nature, requires a fair amount of real estate. The only way I can see one working is by picking up some property out on Papago, and I am afraid that would cost a significant amount of business due to lack of store front exposure.

I hope someone finds that it's a workable deal. We could sure use one.

Stupid should hurt!

I know this was mentioned on the old forum, but Full Circle Car Wash is being slated for the SEC of John Wayne and Edison.

Here's a link to their site:

I know it's not a place you can bring your car TO and they don't do oil changes, but Black Star Mobile Car wash did a phenomenal job on our cars. I have heard nothing but good things from others as well.

I agree......

Car wash permits are hard to get ... so I hear.

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

I also agree.

I took my car to Cobblestone when I lived in the Northeast valley. I was so excited when they opened one in Chandler. I still drive there to get mine changed.

I'd do it myself....

Never mind...you should have seen me try to change the battery one time. Took me over an hour (not kidding). I am a computer geek...not a mechanic, who am I kidding....

When I choose to wash it myself, I try but the ONLY place I trust is Cobblestone and if you know me, I'm ANAL about my cars and who touches them! I used to go there alot when I had an apartment in Chandler. Too bad its not a franchise or I would go in on an investment on putting one here in Copa'...the only crap we have is Circle K, which is rubbish!!

Yes a car wash is definitely needed, DD I agree with you 100% the numbers on it are almost impossible, The investment is so high and the cost to run it and try to get employees in the AZ heat is even harder. I do hope some will do it! We get ours washed when we are in Chandler.
