Alert | I have ran a breakeven analysis on a carwash for Maricopa, and it's really hard to make the numbers work. The killer is the price of the property. A car wash, by it's very nature, requires a fair amount of real estate. The only way I can see one working is by picking up some property out on Papago, and I am afraid that would cost a significant amount of business due to lack of store front exposure.
I hope someone finds that it's a workable deal. We could sure use one. | |

I took my car to Cobblestone when I lived in the Northeast valley. I was so excited when they opened one in Chandler. I still drive there to get mine changed.
I'd do it myself....
Never mind...you should have seen me try to change the battery one time. Took me over an hour (not kidding). I am a computer geek...not a mechanic, who am I kidding.... | | | |

I used to go there alot when I had an apartment in Chandler. Too bad its not a franchise or I would go in on an investment on putting one here in Copa'...the only crap we have is Circle K, which is rubbish!! | |

Alert | | Yes a car wash is definitely needed, DD I agree with you 100% the numbers on it are almost impossible, The investment is so high and the cost to run it and try to get employees in the AZ heat is even harder. I do hope some will do it! We get ours washed when we are in Chandler. | | | |
