Alert | | I didn't know that we do recyclables - is that the blue lid trashbin that I see in my street that I don't have? I'll call WM to order one for us. By the way, is the farm poo smell here only in the morning? Is there a smell schedule?

Alert | | LOL The welcoming odor you enjoy with you coffee is (i am told) due to the feeding of the cows and them getting all excited for chow they do some type of poos dust dance and stir it up. Same with the evening eau de poopoo smell. Hubby also says that it is do to the cooler weather...something about the cooler air being heavier yadda yadda yadda... Says he knows cus he grew up on a Wisconsin dairy farm...and always says "SMELL like Money" and I have to remind him "ONLY if you OWN the cows...to the rest of us its just poop!!!"

Alert | Love your sense of humor - tinker bell! Yeah, the cattle odor reminds me of living back in Ohio near farms, so I don't really mind it - but I would like to own some of the interest in those ranches!
Garbage day is Tuesday Recycleble day (blue lid) is Thursdays - according to the Buddha (my hubby)

Alert | | We used to get garbage picked up Tues and Fridays. The letter we got introducing WM's recycling program stated that from Nov 1 forward, Tues would be garbage day and Friday would be recycling.

Alert | | The letter we received when the recycle can was delivered said effective Nov. 1st the garbage pickup would be on Monday, and recycle pick up on Thursday. However, WM is picking up on garbage on Tuesday and recycle on Friday. I did notice that the letter we received with the Mon/Thurs info had the name of a different subdivision instead of Homestead. Perhaps that's partly the cause of the confusion.
