How expensive do you think it would be to get a couple signs put in on the 347.

"Slow Traffic Stay Right"
"Left Lane Passing Only"

There are two things in life I don’t discriminate against, that’s drugs and woman. I do them all.

Just curious if you think that those signs would really work. After all the speed limit signs don't.

get used to it already. The cops dont care, why do you? Same goes for the people that cut in front of the left turners from the straight lane getting onto I-10 in the morning. Every law that can be broken, has been, and will always be. Until law enforcement cares, nothing will change.

I would prefer we just install photo radar. I can't remember the last time I had a near accident due to someone driving too slow. Now too fast, nearly daily.

Slow down or crash already!

47.2 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot!

If they put out the left lane passing only sign and put cops out to enforce it, it would make a difference. Sections of highway in AZ with these signs are very different.

Speed limit signs don't work because they're set unreasonably low.

I've found that traffic going slower than it wants to tends to be more packed in. Tailgating is a huge contributor towards accidents.

I'll pitch in... I hate those people that drive on the left lane at lower speeds.

I swear, it's almost like we drive in England. The left lane has become the cruising lane and the right lane is the passing lane.

Speeders... that all that uses the Left lane anyway.

Everyone in the left lane WILL speed.. so stop your crying already!

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

Uhhhh...no. It has consistently been my experience that people cruising in the left lane are going at or under the speed limit. About 75% of the passing I do is in the right lane now.

No hyperbole. Yesterday I was stuck for most of 347 in the left lane, which was going slower than the right lane, while both were going less than the speed limit.

unfortunately there are those that feel the need to MONITOR the rest of us...

Yep, i too have been stuck behind an "under the speed limit person" in the left lane..

guess they feel its their JOB ...

they should be lookin MORE out the WINDSHIELD instead of watchin the rear view mirror..

accident causers... that's what they are..

let ME decide how i want to drive and let ME deal with the consequences of my actions...

HA... here's a thought .. PHOTO RADAR that tickets you for 5 UNDER the limit or slower.... LOL
the town would make a mint during the two major commute times...( i dare NOT say RUSH HOUR cause that just aint true now is it... LOLagain)

Kirbydo is back.... my opinion is just as important as everyone elses....

PS - i love maricopa

I would also like to see those signs put up. I'm gonna give out bumper stickers to these left lane lurchers. They will stay "LLFL" which stands for left lane for life. I have noticed these LLFL morons are also the drivers who don't use there turn signals.

In Texas, they used to have a great sign up. It posted the speed limit.
About a mile past that there was another sign. I will fill it in with Arizona numbers.
"Speeding will cost you:
1-10 MPH-$168
11-15 MPH-$183
16-25 MPH $208
26-30 MPH $283
Excessive speed will result in arrest and a minimum fine of $723 Plus $6.00 for each additional mile over.

This might be effective, and I would put money towards the sign.
(See Jason? 67MPH can net you a $168 fine.)

Let X=X
