They still fight at these meetings? I stop going after all the past drama. I hope things are better now at these meetings....

I missed the fighting at the last one (I was late). I hope that with new blood on the board that will stop and everyone can get along.

At my last HOA the fighting was what partially motivated me to get on the board. Some of the things I have seen here have motivated me to put my hat in the ring.

Vote for change.

Work beckons, so I won't be at the meeting unfortunately. But I hope it goes well. And good luck in the race! We need some sensible folk on the board...

There 'should' be ballots sent out so that you can vote and send them in. So even if you can not make it you can still vote!

Oh I absolutely will...assuming I get it.

Funny thing...the HOA seems to have no problem sending me nastygrams and/or bills, but heaven forbid they send me a ballot. ;-)

Just a reminder...

Your participation is important! If a quorum is not present by mail-in ballots, or in person, the meeting will have to be rescheduled at an additional expense of another mailing to the owners and rental of meeting space. We need to have 10% participation, or 74 lots present in person or via mail-in ballot presentation. Therefore, it is important that your ballot is received, either ahead of time or at the meeting.

They were suppose to have sent them out on the 16th. I have not received one either. <img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/unsure.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Unsure' align='absmiddle'>

This is ridiculous. We have an election meeting on Monday and still no ballots!!!! What is going on? If they didn't have enough people to run for the open slots by the 12th they should have informed the community a lot earlier. I think I'm going to email Barbara and see what's going on.

Java, if you get on the board, I hope you can sort out a lot of the communication problems! I seriously wish you luck!

I just received my ballot in the mail on the 24th, and it was supposed to be filled out and mailed back to the association by 5:00 p.m. on October 22. That's par for the course with this association.
