 Alert | It looks like this may be a very important one, please come to it, and give your input!!! The homeowners need to be represently properly, and if we don't speak up, no one can know how we feel. This is our chance to make a difference in our community. Please come and help keep our community as it was meant to be.
It seems a lot has happened over the last few days with regard to the fields being used for organized sports by the City of Maricopa.
Any input here on the forums, isn't getting us anywhere.
But do apprecieate everyones perspective on it. | |

There are no games and I find it highly offensive that a certain and small group of people decided to take a chicken-you-know-what approach to dealing with the situation by calling police on kids practicing soccer, taking photos of cars and probably spreading lies to further their cause. We are the only team practicing at Cobblestone, our kids live here, we're not causing damage, we're not playing games so please stop the histrionics. Plus after talking to our coach, the prop management company has been in possession of the insurance certificate since the middle of September. | | | |

Alert | ..no one has ever called the police on children who live in CF, practicing soccer...there WERE soccer GAMES being played along with other organized sports. There has been destruction of property (not saying the soccer team destroyed property)...It may vey well be NOW all the children who are practicing live in CF, but before this past Friday, this was not the case. The City of Maricopa Parks & Recreation were using our park a if it were the City's.
And AGAIN...the whole point is that if you allow ORGANIZED activities for one you must allow for all....!!!! | |

Your silly neighborhood and its HOA remind me of Berlin circa 1941. Do you have any idea how foolish you look to the rest of this city? If you really wanted to make a difference I strongly suggest you aim a little higher than preventing children from playing soccer!
I would never let anyone I cared about move to Cobblestone Farms; I might even have some bumper stickers made up and give them away at Frys to spread the word to the rest of the world!

I just love the way some people spin things so others look so bad. I would never let any one I cared about move near someone who lives near you...!! How sad it is that you put words in people's mouths and start such horrible rumors.....READ THE WORDS IN FRONT OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!No one called the police for such a simple thing!!!!!There HAS been many GAMES being played by the City of Maricopa Parks and Rec, without the approval of the development,and without their certificate of insurance. Cars were being parked on both sides of the street around the circle and up the short strip of road that goes around a bend, right up TO the stop sign and mailboxes making it difficult for any driver to get through, let alone if an emercency vehicle had to get though.All around the hours of 5-6 at night when there is much more traffic than other hours. I have seen little ones darting out from between parked cars, and yes they were with their parent, the parent was holding their hand and darting too!!! OPEN YOUR EYES!!!This was the major issue of concern, and what we want to avoid...if we don't stop the ORGANIZED activites, this WILL be a safety problem and someone may get hurt. | |

AGAIN...no one said that the SOCCER TEAM was playing a game this week....all I said is that there WERE games played there, open your eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!WE HAVE HAD GAMES (MAYBE OTHER TEAMS, OTHER SPORTS, WHATEVER) PLAYED AT THAT FIELD, THIS IS THE PROBLEM! Yes, I did see you all there the other night, and no I wasn't the one who took your picture or called the police, nor was it the other person who's name begins with the same as mine, she was on her way home from work, so just maybe it was another concerned homeowner? I personally didn't have a problem with the way things were the other night. If it was always that way in the past, but it has not been. We have had very large groups of people clearly playing games there, specifically on Friday nights. Sorry, if you missed it!! | |

Alert | | As I have come to find out, the events going on now just started as recent as the 18th of October. The complaints from the homeowners are from much earlier. No one from parks and recs ever mentioned ANYTHING about what is going on now, clearly this wasn't the problem. But, there really was an issue! And this is why we need a meeting to clear all this stuff up. Not too sure why you or the coach or anyone from Parks and Rec didn't say that you have only been out there for a week or two. | |
