Just want to let anyone know in case they or someone they know is traveling: There was a severe roll over accident on I-10 northbound just north of the Queen Creek bridge. There was a white car on its side in the median, whole roof ripped off. They closed I-10 to one lane and closed the 347 exit from southbound I-10 traffic to land a MEDEVAC helicopter on the exit ramp.

I-10 northbound is backed up as far as the eye can see and when I got into the southbound traffic at 5:30, it was backed up north of Wild Horse Pass. AZ511 shows an estimated resolution of 6:45, but you might just want to avoid I-10 altogether. You can either take I-10 to the 202, then to the 101 and go south on Price Road and then east on Queen Creek or exit I-10 at Chandler Blvd, then south on 56th Street and then east on Sundust, which turns into Wild Horse Pass.

I saw that while I was heading north. Hope no one died.

Actually I-10 goes East and West Jason(whether you are actually travelling E or W doesn't matter). Surprised you missed that.
So the accident was on the Westbound side and they closed the Queen Creek exit on the East Bound side for the Helo.

But thanks for the fairly accurate reporting. I saw the backup from the 202(West) and was glad I didn't have to merge into the traffic. Just zipped right onto The Wild horse Pass exit.

Wow, I was lucky! I decided to get my car washed at Queen Creek and Price, so I didn't take the freeway home last night after shopping at the mall.
