Hi,
I'm looking at going back to work in the next few weeks and am going to hire my sister in law to watch my 2 kids. Neither of us has any experience or knowledge about the going rate for daycare. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to divulge what they pay for their childcare.

I have 2 kids (2 & 4)
It would be from 6:30 - 4:00

Thank you in advance for your time!

I am not sure what a in home daycare rate is but the day care that we take our kids to charges $177 for that age group. The second child gets a 10% discount. So if you had both kids there you would be paying $336 a week for 2 kids. I am sure home daycares are a lot cheaper than that.

My grandkids are here for six weeks - ages 4,2 and 1. We were quoted by three different people $125 per child per week to take them to their home.

$336 a week? Dang, If i were still working that would be like 1 of my 2 paychecks a month to put my kiddos in there. Insane! Now I really dont regret quiting oh so long ago LOL

Maybe I should pay myself $336 a week watch my kids! Thats a good idea!

my MIL in tempe would charge $250 per week for those ages and times. She's been doing daycare out of her home for 25 years.
