Alert | | What is the deal with the house on Van Loo? I am sure you have seen it, looks like Sanford and Son are expanding into Maricopa. One day the driveway is full of junk and two days later it is gone. Two days later more crap. I also like how they removed all the landscaping. Classy!!!!!!

Alert | The one with the cars in the driveway and all other crap? I believe that guy buys and sells cars at auctions. They are always different cars in the driveway, street, with for sale signs.

Alert | No the HOA would rather send letters to home owners who have improved their homes. I got a letter for a driveway extension that has been in place for 1 1/2 years now..That at the time when i called the HOA i was told i didn't need approval... hey HOA take my $$$$ and shove it up your A$$$$.... i have no idea what we are paying for....there are WEED FORESTS growing all over the place, Sanford and son has taken up residence, cars all over the streets, construction vehicles parked on the streets, trash, graffiti, broken front entrance.....etc etc etc.... but please ding me for enhancing my home..

I have read and understood the posting on this thread and have nothing to add.
| | Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem. ______________________________________ *************************************** San Diego Super Chargers! GO!!! Joined old forum March 2006 Post count: 3068 + these | |

Alert | perfect example.. i just got this email from RED HOA..
"We as a community have been requested, again by the city and many homeowners, to place our trash containers on the street on collection days and not on the sidewalk. If the containers are placed on the sidewalks this causes people using the sidewalks to walk into the streets and places them in danger. We are going to continue to send letters letting those residents, to advise them that they need to place the containers in the street." Thank you, Melinda Duering, CMCA Manager Rancho El Dorado HOA

Alert | | You would think they would exert their efforts into something important like: WEEDS, CAR LOTS, and Parking on the streets!

Alert | | Weekends on Reis Drive it looks like an RV park. There is an RV actaully it's a bus with a Huge trailer attached. You can't even drive 2 cars in between. I'm sick of it. "DUNE ME" | | 25th Infantry Division <---- Tropic Lightning

Alert | | I am a renter in RED and just got a letter from the HOA regarding out garbage can on the side of the house (not in our garage-where ALL our stuff is!) We cannot put it in the backyard- the gate latch is broken and impossible to open. I showed dh the notice and he said "Are they kidding me- with all the weeds and rundown cars in this neighborhood!?" And I have a question... Are you not allowed to put cement from the drive way to the gate? I have not seen this anywhere and am just wondering if it is a "law" to not have a walk way so you dont have to 4 wheel the garbage can to the backyard???

Alert | | I just got a letter regarding the driveway extension, what you are talking about. It's been in place 1 1/2 years now.... you are allowed to pour cement there, but apparently you need to get approval which was not the case when i asked. PM me and i can send you pictures of what i did.

Alert | | I was told that you can do an extention to your driveway if it is less than 2 feet wide.. You can also do the concret to the gate - but I believe that needs to be approved first.

Alert | | This AM I went by this house and it actually looked decent, other than the 5-6 cars in the drive. Glad to see they cleaned it up a bit....Now those cars got to go. | | DingDong Senior Member Joined: July 2005 " Yeah, definately yeah. "

that is correct.
They used to do the exact same thing in Maricopa Meadows until the HOA got on them there. It's very sad.

We tinted the windows years ago noone can see in and if that isn't good enough !@$#$%#$ Also, we put in a half court w/ B-ball hoop in the side yard 4+ yrs ago and just now got a letter stating that they need a drawing of it. It's in the same place it has been for 4+ years! There are so many other things to worry about.... my yard looks fine and the rental prop's yard looks fine so leave us alone...geez | | Ppppppbbbbbbssssssssssttttttttt!

Alert | Again i'm the recipient of a letter from the HOA. This one had to do with my flag being torn up---by the first bad wind storm we had-- it was taken down a couple of days later but not before the HOA saw it and drafted a letter... How about all the trees that have blown over and are still down.. people live in these homes.. how about Semi's parking on the street..etc etc etc....
Thanks again HOA great job!!!!!
