What happened? I had to work late, and by the time I got home, it was too late.

Basically, Roger the board pres gave an over view of the issues in the community, ie financials, parking issues, and an update on the City's Redevelopment task force. Two new board members were elected, myself and Tanya Palmenteer. Then they took questions from the homeowners.

Also, great news!!! You can now go to the AC web site and click on the contact section, then contact the board and submit your question, concern or comment directly to the board members!

congratulations to you!!! I know you truly care about this community, and have plenty of ideas and skills to apply to the board.

congratulations to Tanya too. I hope to meet both of you at the next meeting.

I was impressed with the overall atmosphere...sadly I was anticipating something much more vicious. Smiles all around.

I hope so too, that was just why I voted for you! Well, that and because you're so generally sensible. And stuff. :-)

Of course, I voted for you as soon as I got my ballot. With the post office as "interesting" as they are, you can be expecting my vote to arrive around Christmas.

We should turn our HOA into a feudal system with a royal court. We could elect a King and Queen, and they would vote on policy. That would be cool. And we all dress in Renaissance clothing at the meetings. That would be awesome.

JasonY ~ I LOVE your idea! I want to be queen then, of course! I already have my outfit all picked out. I've been eyeing it since I went to the Renaissance Festival several years ago. Hmmm, who could be out court jester? *insert thoughtful face here*
