 Alert | | I am trying to understand why there has been zero response, reporting, etc. on the recall failure. Surely, all the time, energy and space that was devoted to Mr. White's demise on this forum would certainly warrant some congratulatory comment to the battle torn board member. Or is it that the Flores camp is regrouping to formulate the next anti-White campaign? Baseless conspiracy speculation? I think not; no, I know not. | | | |

I am just in awe of what lengths some people are starting to go to. I had some doubts about the direction of the district but this is unreal. A good friend of mine and his wife were going into the grocery store and were approached by the "Recall Tim White Campaign" and they asked if she would sign the petition to recall Tim White and she said no. The petitioner asked, "don't you know what is going on" and she replied, "yes, that is exactly why I won't sign the petition."
Oh I get it - "I don't recall, I don't remember, it was a collaborative decision, many people were involved" sound familiar. | | | |

These problems didn't just surface since the new administration took over. These problems have been around for many, many, years. Alma Farrell's reign never did anything about these problems, so why are you only ragging on the current administration? Why aren't you questioning why Alma Farrell never did anything about these problems? Why aren't you asking Tim White, why he wasn't such a hero when Alma Farrell was in charge?

Alert | Yeah, some believe she was a 'Goddess' and walked on water, even though the school has NEVER been ranked as a high quality school in Arizona.
And some think she is to blame for the school's lack of quality, administrative problems, budget carryover problems, etc.
I don't think she's innocent, that's for sure. I had some experiences working with her on a couple projects and was certainly not impressed. I think the school district has had significant problems for a very long time.
I think that when Flores tried to get rid of a couple people, who are obviously friends with Mr. White, that it was an opportunity to take all the problems and refocus them toward the new administration, and become a martyr at the same time. Heck, I think Mr. White is beginning to walk on water.
I don't think the new admin is 100% perfect, and they don't have it all figured out yet, but based on my experience when Farrell was in charge, I'll take new blood anytime. | | | |

Alert | Almost half of the signatures were thrown out. I am amazed by that. Did they not check? Did they not ask if people were registerd in the Maricops school district? That is incredibly inept and no I will not accuse them of fraud. The whole initative lack intelligence from the beginning so I truely believe it was not an attempt at fraud.
Not only did this recall attempt fail, it really made this school district llok bad. This whole ill-advise action created a tremendous amount of hostility in the district and in the community. Better that it never happened. I wish it didn't. The only good thing is that this community is much more aware of this districts' shortcommings and challenges than ever. Hopefully we can all turn this into a positive this coming election by electing school board members who recognize and will address the many many issues this whole recall attempt exposed.
