Alert | Passing along some information that was recently mailed to me:
Abandoned shopping carts have become a nuisance throughout the city. If you have carts in your community from Bashas call the store at 836-4400 and they will send someone out to collect the cart. If the cart belongs to Fry’s you can either call the store at 568-6200 or call their cart retrieval service at 1-800-the-cart.
Thank you,
Brian K. Duncan

Alert | OK.. I am stealing this and running with it. It is not only happening in your area.. it's in the VREDS SAGECREST area as well.
| | Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem. ______________________________________ *************************************** San Diego Super Chargers! GO!!! Joined old forum March 2006 Post count: 3068 + these | |

Alert | I posted it in the GENERAL SECTION but then since I'm on the board at Cobblestone I thought I had better post it there as well. Some people don't venture out of the cobblestone area. Sorry if I posted it too much.

Alert | | Reminds me of all the apartments and houses by the Walmart off of Elliot and Priest. Although I'm not in Cobblestone, I find it annoying that people have to "steal" carts to take stuff home. | | "Everything for everyone and nothing for ourselves"

Alert | | In some parts of the valley, they send out a company to pick up these carts. When there is no car at home, and somebody wants to go grocery shopping and pick up more than they can carry for the long haul taking a cart most of the way is what is done. The store should take the loss, financially, to send out someone to pick these carts up. Of course everyone down here drives and they are intentionally stealing the carts. lol
