 Alert | Please advise your children that steeling pumpkins and smashing them is not a very nice thing to do. I put 2 pumpkins out to decorate for Halloween the other night and they are gone. My neighbor told me he saw smashed pumpkins by the mailbox on Sunset Dr. My kids were going to carve them and make funny faces just as we do every year. This year I had to see them cry that somebody stole their pumpkins to smash. <img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/sad.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Sad' align='absmiddle'>
Do we have rotten kids in this neighborhood or what? I'm glad I learned my lesson with silly pumpkins. We now have a camera on our house. We will press charges if they try to do it again. As a early teen they will steel your pumpkin, as a young adult they will steel your car. I would talk to your kids about this situation. If it was not your kid, maybe it was his or her friend. Please pass the word.

Alert | | Thank you for leaving the remains all over the road for the whole weekend! With the cooler weather, we leave our window open half of the night; and let me tell you that teens are creating mischief on weekend nights. I think I saw a couple of teens the other night roamming around, after seeing them I noticed smashed pumpkins. Of course, this is a misdemeanor offense, as rude as this is, and one cannot pinpoint the crime on the persons unless seeing this happen. What will a camera show if it is dark and they have their heads down when coming to your home? I guess the block watch commitee was cancelled the other night or maybe we could make some headway on simple crimes. | | | |

Alert | | I was told by my neighbor late last night that they saw pumpkin remains by the mailbox. I have not been over there yet to see for my self. I do my part in this community by trying to keep it clean. I bought a very good camera that can zoom in when needed (even at night). That is what my camera will do. I will clean it up right now. If I was you and saw the pumpkin there all weekend I would have cleaned it up. Since I just found out I'll go right now and clean it up. Want to help? | |

Alert | | I tell you what lady, you pick the remains up and I will talk to the kids older brother and see if they will stop smashing your pumkins. I don't live by you so this is too far out of my immediate area to pick up your trash, however, I , like you, pick up the trash around the parts of the street I see weather its mine or not.
