Alert | It seems that there aren't alot of off-road motorcycle/ATV riders in Maricopa, if there are, maybe this will get the adrenaline flowing so we can all get a ride going. I raced in Mexico for the first time this weekend and it was very fun to say the least. It's kinda a long read, but there some pics. I'm no journalist, so bear with me. I finished 14th. out of 38 riders, not bad for an a first timer, old, out of shape guy! www.tank69.com/race.htm
There may be some race lingo in there that isn't familiar to some, I wrote this for one of the racing boards I'm a member of. I also guess you can't hyperlink on the forum, so cut and paste.

Alert | Hubby and I ride quads for fun if anyone wants to go out sometime. The only place we have been to ride at since moving to AZ is in Lake Havasu. Very fun there. | | *********************** Heat beats snow!!!

I did the Whiplash race in Wickenberg on my friends XR650 and I do plan on doing the Snowflake race on my quad in September! Where do you guys ride and it's great to see a family racing. My 13 year old started riding a few months ago and he wants to do a desert race next year, so I'm trying to make it a family affair as well. Let's get together sometime!

I'm always up for a fun ride, especially to take the kids. Where do you ride, anywhere in the city?

Alert | The guys have been going on night rides out at sycamore lately. seems to be fun, since it's so hot to ride during the daylight hours.
have you registered for snowflake yet? what class will you race in? My hubby is #319 a YFZ 450. My dad is a 700#, on a Polaris Predator.
My dad and uncles have been racing since before I was born. Its just something that our family has always done together. I love that now I'm bringing my children to the races. My 5 year old daughter wants a quad of her own! | | If you can't spot the loser, it might be you

Alert | I've been wanting to post for awhile here to look for more people to ride with. I haven't done any riding this summer (just too hot) but, now that fall is coming my family and I are planning a few trips to the dunes Ocotillo ~Wells and just about anywhere we can afford to go. I ride a TRX250R my wife rides a LT400 and my 5yr old rides a LTZ50 and my 6 yr old just got a new 90cc race quad. Like I said, I'm looking for family type riding/camping and basically more people who are into the same things I am. If you've never been to the sand dunes, you don't know what you're missing.
