 Alert | Hmmm, I never really asked such a silly question on this forum before, but since there are a lot of people who are integrated in all areas of expertise, I figure I try my hand at this.
See, im sick of the interior of my home being blah.....
We painted the inside of the house, but have no paintings or nothing much to show. We got some furniture, but nothing special for the walls...or any silk plants.
Im starting to decorate the inside of the house more, maybe more motivation and spice up the inside a bit...I want the inside decorations to be like "model home" type, with the weird fake plants on top of the kitchen cabinets and stuff...where does everyone go to find some good deals on home decorations without spending an arm and a leg.
I found some stuff at wal-mart that helped, and fry's marketplace had some good decoration stuff....
Any good deals on silk plants and stuff anywhere else?
I will try those yard sales to see if they have any decor props I could find.....thanks in advance! | | | |

Alert | | Go to Michaels Crafts for the silk plants and alot of crafting ideas for the home, you can check em out at www.michaels.com but I'd buy the plants in a store so you can pick exactly what you want. | |

Was thinking about going, and I knew about Michael's selections...but im lousy put things like crafts and plants together with the foamy stuff and baskets LOL.
I think I'll stick to buying what is pre-made though...ha.

Alert | Okay, I will spill some of my secrets. Haha. Our house has changed so much in the last 3 years. I was just looking at photos of when we moved in and WOW, I don't even recognize it.
Anyway, I love decorating our home and love to find deals. One store we have shopped quite a bit with great deals is Kirkland Home next to Target off the 202 behind Chandler mall. They have the "model home" type things for all over your home.
There is another store I found the other day and I will need to find my receipt to tell you the name. I have stumbled into it and the store is amazing!
Try Kirkland home, very reasonable prices. Right now they have quite a bit of holiday, but I used to find stuff weekly there and some things can be as little as $15 - $20 for an item.

Alert | Wow, that really does help me a lot; thank you very much. I'll try the target by the 202, I actually go there often, but that one place you discovered....please let me know, I'd like to find it and get some decorative items.
