 Alert | | I'm supprised not to see anyone complaining about ADOT painting the northbound 347 this morning right in the middle of rush hour(s)! Traffic was backed up almost south of the tracks because of the two trucks that blocked the right lane so they could paint the solid white line, right at 7:00 AM this morning! So much for the *cough* schedule and the "we're taking a 4-day weekend because of the holiday" statement I saw somewhere else! <img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/angry.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Angry' align='absmiddle'> | | | |

Alert | | Since no one else has complained about the painting this morning, I will. Who's the smart guy that decided to do this at 7am. Especially the day after the road was shut down for hours. Alert | I heard ADOT was over budget on the project. So to save money the employees had to paint the lines using paint brushes provided by ADOT.
Unless you think you can do a better job painting the roadway with ADOT provided paint brushes, let's all give them a break.
Also, I heard ADOT employees are instructed to save their beer cans since ADOT is short on orange cones. | | | |

Alert | omg, the painted lines are awful! heading to 'copa, the right lane is huge and the left lane is barely wide enough for a car!
the lines aren't straight at all! i really hope these are just temporary until they finish the whole paving project. my 2 year old can draw straighter lines! | |

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

Alert | Looks like AZCentral knows where ADOT was this weekend -- instead of working in Maricopa, they were blocking traffic on the 87 out of Phoenix on a holiday weekend!
