Alert | I was just up watching Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, and couldn't help but notice that part of the ice scene was the same set used in Superman II (I think that was the version of Superman, anyway). I know I was watching another horror movie on another sleepless night, and noticed the same thing - same set, different movie. I blame my visit to Universal Studios back in the day for recognizing such things.
So...my questions are: What movie sets have left you jaded? And better yet, what's the most original one you've seen? My answer to the second is the original Friday the 13th. Blairstown, New Jersey, is Blairstown, New Jersey (trust me on that one, I know). Responses, anyone? | | <---Look, Ma! I sit, I stay, I match the carpet!

Alert | That kind of sounds appropriate to me!
Was just watching a movie the other night and noticed that the set they were using was one from National Treasures...can't remember what movie it was now! Arggg!! And why is it that we now notice stupid stuff like this? | | Who's using me, what should we do? Because you can't be a pimp and a prostitute too. - White Stripes

Alert | Here's a bit of nerdy movie trivia. In Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, the bridges of both starships (Enterprise & Reliant) were on the same set! This isn't something that many people will notice due to minor tweaks and the lighting differences.
The actual term for using a set twice is "redress". The above Star Trek reference can be found under the "Redress" entry in our friend Wikipedia.

Maybe some of it was. But I have the pics to prove some if it was shot in Blairstown. Even the cemetary. If I ever figure this new website out, I'll post some pics | | <---Look, Ma!
