Alert | | You always seem to find great videos on YouTube. The guy they interview at the end after he signs it is really funny. | | Welfare's purpose should be to eliminate, as far as possible, the need for its own existence.

Alert | Has nothing to do with being 'liberal", just naive. All ends of the political spectrum have idiots. So, if we went around with a periodic table of the elements, only the republicans would know them? How many people know what (Xe) is? Not knowing this makes you a dumb liberal, huh? Alert | | Luddite -modern movement of opposition to technology..... how do you figure. I'm a proud republican conservative and I am a Systems Engineer working primarily with windows and cisco environments... that makes me apposed to technology???? where is your logic? what do you do? | | All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. --Edmund Burke | |

Alert | Main Entry: Ludd·ite Pronunciation: 'l&-"dIt Function: noun Etymology: perhaps from Ned Ludd, 18th century Leicestershire workman who destroyed a knitting frame : one of a group of early 19th century English workmen destroying laborsaving machinery as a protest; broadly : one who is opposed to especially technological change
You have got that wrong.... Which side of the political table is leading the whole "Global Warming" cause? Liberalism. They want us to live like a 3rd world country and tear down what they call "The System" Believing in small government is the Rebuplican/conservative way. A free and prosperous market is the Rebuplican/conservative way. A repressed Government enslavement is the Liberal/Democratic/Socialist way.

Alert | Republicans aren't against change.
Let's remember they freed the slaves. That was a big change, led by the Republicans, resisted by the Democrats.

Alert | I wouldn't say many Republicans of today are conservatives. The republicans of today are more liberal than Democrats in the 50's and 60's.
Many running for the Republican nomination have moral values much closer to "liberals" than "conservatives".
Bush spends more money than anyone running this government ever has. Although our deceift has been cut in half recently, we could have been in the black long ago. Our government has more revenue than ever before, and the Republicans have spent like there is no tomorrow. | | Welfare's purpose should be to eliminate, as far as possible, the need for its own existence.

Alert | It is very true. However, please don't think Democrats are the answer. They will raise taxes, which cuts revenue. Then when the deceifts don't drop, they will tax more.
What we need is someone that will keep taxes low, government revenue generally high, cut social programs, cut out all pork, and have the kind of fiscal responsiblity to run business in the black, not the red. | | Welfare's purpose should be to eliminate, as far as possible, the need for its own existence.
