Since this wasn't allowed in the other thread...

How many? I've counted no less than 30, plus one on the roof just above the windshield.

Laughing!!

Mine is an older truck (98) that has seen some abuse so it is hard to tell what's new or what was already there.

Jason what do you drive? I don't think I would be able to notice if I had that many paint chips on my car.

It's a Pontiac. Most of the chips are small, but there are a few large ones.

Between the bug splats, spotted dirt/dust/rain mix and chips - my vehicle is now pokadotted. Welcome to Arizona!

I am afraid to wash my car and find out. It's filthy because of the rain every night.

You know I told myself that I wasn't even going to look/read anything in the Driving section for fear that I would just get all fired up!! But it's really going to be a long 3 months for this road construction. I mean it's desperatly needed but not at the expense to all of us that have to drive it. I also meant to check my tire depth just to conclude my feeling that so called "milled surface" was in fact a cheese grater we're all driving on.
Honestly I thought they'd "mill" one lane going each direction, re-pave it and then move on to the other lane. I really didn't think they'd open that lane to driving. C'mon! And then expect people to drive 45mph. Yeah right!
Seriously, I'm sure the windsheild replacement companies will be getting plenty of customers. Of course I'm holding out until it's all complete to replace mine. As for washing my car...I'm scared to.

Go Broncos!!!!

I must have at least 20 so far. I figure I'll wait until the construction is over, before I pull out the bottle of touch up paint. Our car is only 3 months old too

I haven't had any paintchips since I was a kid and lived under the power lines. They are bad for you!

It really isn't that bad for your tires. Just keep them properly inflated and you'll be fine.

Now your suspension on the other hand....

Well lets see, my car has tiny chips all over the nose. Both of my vehicles have cracked windshields now and since I moved to AZ several years ago I have had no less than 5 flat tires. Between that, the dumb drivers, and the road construction, its brutal getting anywhere from here.
