Take that for what it's worth because it came from sale people at local builder's, but I found it interesting that I heard it from more than one. I just don't get why the land here is so expensive? I have heard this too from more than one source, and like you, I'm wondering how this is possible. My only guesses are that the City might be askin for concessions in order for builders to create new shopping centers, etc; or that they're charging more money in fees in an effort to wring every last drop of money from each builder. Now, I don't have any evidence that any of that is actually going on, those are just the only things I can think of that would make builders so hostile towards building here. Who knows. | | | |

Alert | Shortage of land, or shortage of affordable land is very good in the sense of our property values. I personally would like to see builders slow down. It would be great for those trying to sell their resales if the builders weren't offering such great incentives.
But then again, it is all a cycle. If the builders leave or cut down their numbers, resales will go back up.
