 Alert | | Okay, so I replaced all the carpet in the dining room with tile so the cat wouldn't pee on the carpet. Well today I found that she is peeing on the tile! Alert | Have you taken her to the vet to see if she has a Urinary Tract Infection or some other medical cause? This is thee #1 reason for inappropriate urination.
Try a covered litter box
Change the litter type.. maybe crystals or something completely different?

Alert | | I agree about taking the cat to the vet. Make sure there is nothing medically wrong before trying anything else. And the vet may be able to recommend a product or technique to get your cat to use the litter box if they get a clean bill of health. Unfortunately every cat that I have had that urinated outside the litter box had a UTI or other problem. Good luck | | | |

Alert | | Try rinsing the litter box with hot water and peppermint oil. Also, if your litter box is more than a year old you may want to replace it since plastic tends to retain odor this may be an issue for kitty. | | | |
