Hi Neighbors,
Can anyone confirm what is going on with the southbound 347 today? I saw the thread regarding this, and tried calling ADOT and the city with no luck. I just want to know if both southbound lanes are torn up this afternoon, because it LOOKED like they were paving one of the lanes this morning. Thanks for any info!

when i drove to chandler this morning they were indeed grooving the southbound passing lane. i would assume all southbound lanes will be grovved today.

It looked fine when I came home (about 3pm).. the road is completely grooved, but no back ups..

It's definitely grooved in both lanes but as ANJ said, it's not too bad. Patience and somewhat slower speeds will keep tempers in check and the rocks on the ground where they belong. It was raining rocks going northbound at 5:30 this morning..........larger trucks and commercial vehicles in the right lane kicking a lot of them up.

took the 347 no backups and it looks like they did a lot better job at cleaning the surface

I have been going in early to aviod the big traffic crowds. coming back in was slow but driveable. So we will see what is next.
