This is already available for Tom Tom's through private sources. I have a Tom Tom and you can Google speed traps and find sites where you can download for free POIs of where users have seen or caught speed traps works great for me.

I think some of the speed detection cameras are triggered by sensors embedded in each lane of the pavement and don't use radar at all.
